** Announcing the final MaCKRO club events of 2008 ** End-of-the-Season MaCKRO Club Race Who : MaCKRO members, friends, and guests When : Saturday, Oct. 18--10:00am start Where : Kennebec River, Sidney landing to Augusta landing (the same course used for the 2004 State Championships) Registration : none Registration Fee : none Event : Flatwater Race from Sidney to Augusta Contact : Don Wescott (547-3594) MaCKRO Annual Meeting:   The 2008 MaCKRO Annual Meeting will also be held in Augusta on Saturday, Oct. 18, immediately following the race (at approximately 1:00pm).  The location has yet to be determined, but it will be somewhere convenient to the end of the race course.  The tentative agenda includes: 1.  Resignation of MaCKRO President John Alsop. 2.  Clarification of MaCKRO's relationship (actual and desired) with ACA New England. 3.  Creation of a policy to govern the purchase, storage and use of MaCKRO racing equipment. 4.  Proposed modifications to the WW and FW Point Series. 5.  Calendar planning for 2009.
