It is a challenge to offer a local race hoping to attract the best paddlers in the area when the Nationals are only in Pennsylvania, so attendance was down this year. Yet, we had seven youth who paddled and are excited about paddling. Maine Guide Supply has donated the proceeds of this race  to the new Bath Schools Kayak Club, which was founded this summer to encourage youth to learn to kayak and to begin to compete.
