“Great weather and fast race course this year!” Bob Dean has won 6 out of the last 7 years!
Many of the paddlers feel the Sheepscot River Race is one of the best canoe and kayak races in the State.
“I attribute this to the scenic course which allows for a variety of strategies throughout the race. Paddlers are able to draft each other, choose their routes on either side of islands and make decisions around the current/wind effects of the Sheepscot River”  -  Scott Shea, Sheepscot River Race Director
